Afghan Girls, Scarred by Acid, Defy Terror, Embracing School

One of the biggest things that are happening in Afghanistan is that younger and older children are getting sprayed with burning acid in there face while walking to school. Students and teachers were suggesting that students should stay home, But it seems like that didn't work. Some students that were badly burned had to be sent for treatment. People thought the person that did this to students didn't want them to be educated. Many students walked about more then two miles from there house to school. Until one day three men's on motorcycles began circling around the school. One of them started to throw a spray bottle, the other one a squirt gun, and the last one a jar. The hit 11 girls and 4 teachers all together, and 6 of them had to go to the hospital.
They been trying to find who was behind all of this. So the police arrested eight man. The ministry of the interior showed a video of two men's confessing. One of them said they been paid by an officer to carry the attack. People started putting up posters and it started to appear in the local mosques say "Don't Let Your Child Go To School.

My Opinion about this article is what happen to these children is very sad. Parents that have children in these situations should find another school for them to go to where u know its safe. Some parents still send there child to school even though this stuff is still going on, and that's not a right thing to do. Children that are suffering like this should not be in this type of situation like this.

Heather Davis and John Jones II

This article is about Ms. Davis became convinced and she had found the perfect mate.It was this Yale law graduate guy who was working as a lawyer in Los Angeles that liked her. Ms. Davis has been working with the opposing counsel for 5 years earlier before her and Mr. Jones meet. The opposing counsel saw her profile on Match.com and wrote her asking if she remember him, and she wrote back saying she did. She ask them if they could let her know if there's anybody that she could meet on the regular way. After a couple of weeks later Mr. Jones saw Ms. Davis profile and meet up in February for brunch. Mr. Jones was not looking for a serious relationship, he wanted to get to know her better. Mr. Jones liked mS. Davis appearance and her personality. He learned that she was in yale before she was going to columbia High School. Ms. Davis never felt so comfortable with anyone the way she felt with Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones has been thinking for years to pop the question to her, but he still had to worry about medical school Ms. Davis was thinking in mind that if she walks away, she will regret finding another man like Jones. In January 2011, Ms. Davis and Mr. Jones were riding in the car together. While they were riding Mr. Jones was thinking and told Ms. Davis if she wanna go to med school she can, he will be there to support her. Mr. Jones went to Ms. Davis parents and kindly asked for her hand. On April 10, 2011 he proposed to her on the beach during sunset.

My opinion about this article is that they both did the right thing. They both finished schooling they both got there degree, and they both got a chance to know each other more. They took there time little by little, and they finally came to a point where they wanted to get married, so they did.

For Women Under 30, Most Births Occur Outside Marriage

This article is basically about how most women are getting pregnant and having babies without being married and more people are doing it. The ones that are occurring the most are the ones that go to college but don't finish getting there degree, but the ones that are educated are the ones that are married when they are having a baby. The growth is affecting people lives. People that are born outside of marriage are facing risks of falling into failing school, and they are failing by not getting their education. The ones that are having a child outside of marriage are the ones that are living on welfare. Women's that are having babies out of marriage are the ones that are having more trouble, then the ones that are married. The shift is affecting children's lives. More women's went to work, and making marriage a more less financial necessity for them Most women's that are having babies feel the need marriage means nothing to them. The ones that are outside of marriage, the baby father decides to split up around when the baby gets around 7-10, and higher.

My opinion about this article is that women shouldn't have kids at all intill they know they have everything done, they finish going to school and being married at that time so they know they will end up being a family. Having kids at a young age can mess up everything for you. It will mess up ya schooling and everything. Thats why going to school and getting your education can save you a whole lot.

India’s Supreme Court to Hear Dispute on Drug Patent.

Novartis is the supply chain by forcing the Indian government to recognise a patent for cancer treatment as a breakthrough for people with a deadly form of leukemia. Novartis is a supply of inexpensive medicines to treat AIDS, cancer, and other diseases. The supreme court has been preparing to hear the final arguments in the month. The Indian government has denied the patent for Mr. Gleevec for many other drugs made by the Western drug makers. This case about drugs has been winding through the Indian legal system for six years. The Pacific Rim trade agreed to the Trans-pacific partnership to grant patents in situations similar to involving Gleevec, to the leaked text of the goverments position. This decision could also help determine how much Western drugs companies has been invest in India at a tie when they wanted to increase sales in emerging markets to compensate for business in the United States and in the Western Europe. The United States Food and Drug Administration was approved in 2001 after a rapid review. Gleevc can cost about $70.000 a year in the United States. The company says it has programs through patents in poor countries that an get a hefty discount or in some cases for free. In Indian generic versions cost about $2,500 a year.

My opinion about this article is that making a drug to help prevent people from getting sick and helping treat AIDS, cancer and other diseases, i think they should be making it. The goverment should have the time to take out and think about what they are trying to do to help people out. I think they they are doing is a good thing for them to be doing, cause i would do the same thing.

Im a criminal and so are you

In this article, what's mainly going on is that, in everybody point in life they either did or have been a criminal or something. They either got caught doing it, or didn't get caught yet. Alexander says that " If everyone were forced to acknowledge their own criminality, maybe we, as a nation, would second-guess our apparent zeal for denying full citizenship to those branded felons. What she meaning by this is that, You're still a criminal, no better than many of those who've been branded felons for life. They should be treated the way they were being treated before. No Matter where you be, there's always some criminals around you. When Barack Obama was younger he though of himself as a criminal. He admitted using illegal drugs durning his college year. When you ask people have they ever committed a crime, they look at you like, what kind of question is that, but they be denying that they not criminal, but they have committed a crime before, but just scared to admit they have done wrong in their life time.


My Opinion about this article is that people are denying the fact that they not doing some type of drugs, and they know they are. If you are doing some type of drugs, and you know you are going to get caught, then why take the chance on getting caught. Doing drugs can be one of the most dangerous things you can do. Having drugs go into your system can mess up your body do much, then you going to be wondering why u getting ready to die so early. If parents are doing these things even though its not a good thing to do, make sure you don't do it around your kids, cause your kids see you doing it, it's going to make them want to do it, and then they going to start getting other people to do it with them, and then that's going to mess up their life's for them trying to get a good education and getting a good job. Once people start doing a crime and nobody is telling them that they are doing wrong, then that's what's going to make them keep on doing it. Seeing what other people do, don't mean you have to join them in doing it to. people need to learn how not to worry about what other people are doing, if you know it ain't a right thing to do, then don't do it.

Two people where killed, and over a dozen others were hurt. in the last decade, apple has become the mightiest, richest, and most successful companies in the world. Apple started working in factories making i Pads, and iPhone and other devices. After they started working in the factories, everything started to get out of hand. Two people were killed, and over a dozen other people were hurt. The system had made it so that Apple and hundreds other companies build devices almost as quickly as they can. Apple became the mightiest, riches, and successful companies in the world. employes work overtime, and sometimes seven days a week. They have to stand up so long that their legs swell up untill they cant hardly walk. About two years ago, 137 workers at apple in the eastern china were injured after the haved ordered to use poisonous chemical to clean iphones. the Apple company didn't care about what people were saying, they just still went on working in factories.

My opinion about this article is that if people are telling you its not a good thing to do something cause of what happen last time, you should take the time and think about what you doing cause it can cause a lot of injuries and other problems. Working in factories can be a lot of work cause you do have to stand up for a long time. What i would i would do is that, if somebody told me about what happen last time with people working in the factories, i would do some research on it and see for myself. So for now on, these companies need to learn how to have some respect and pay attention about what people are telling them about people's life.

We All Make Mistakes

Making mistakes can be very easy to do,that's why we ask to be forgiven. You can make 100 mistakes, as long as you're learning from them. There was a quote stating that "If you never failed, then you never lived". Which is true, on one is perfect! We all can do silly obnoxious things at times, but that doesn't mean that we're stupid. No Ignorant? No Mental? of course not, its daily life. Learning from a mistake is the best part. You can only learn from a mistake after you admit you've made it. If you honestly stand up and say "This is my mistake and I'm responsible for it, where can you go wrong, but for many reasons admitting mistakes is difficult. Learning from mistakes requires three things, Putting yourself in situations where you can  make interesting mistakes. Having the self confidence to admit to them. Being courageous about making changes. When smart people make mistakes, the way they handle it is in such a way that it doesn't seem like it's a real mistakes. When normal people make mistakes, they fill like they are broken or did something bad, they don't feel the same way. Once people make mistakes, some people can keep on making them, and some people can learn from them.

Once i make a mistake and i know what i did was wrong, i try to go back and correct that problem i made. For me making a mistake can me so hard to let people know i did it, but once i think about what i did , i try to tell them what i did so that i wont keep making the same mistake over and over again. Learning from your problems/ mistake can be the best part out if the whole thing. Once you know what you did and you know you can correct it, then you have nothing to worry about.
